Mindbase Creates Space for Better Conversations

Designing communication around simplicity

The Mindbase experience was built around one of the most frequent actions on any social platform: starting and continuing a conversation.

Navigation, chat lists and primary actions were intentionally kept straightforward so users can move between conversations without unnecessary friction.

Making conversations more expressive

Messaging extends beyond plain text. The interface supports reactions, replies, forwarding and other contextual interactions directly from individual messages, allowing conversations to feel more natural and expressive.

Bringing people and communities together

Mindbase was designed to support more than one-to-one messaging. Users can start new conversations, connect with people and discover communities through a consistent interaction model.

Creating a familiar but distinct experience

The UI uses generous whitespace, strong typography and restrained visual elements to maintain clarity even as conversations grow. Subtle accent colours provide hierarchy without competing with the content users are exchanging.

Built around the mobile experience

Every interaction was considered for smaller screens and touch-based navigation. From creating a conversation to responding to an individual message, the interface prioritises actions that can be completed quickly and intuitively.
